Flowzenly is built by a small team in India. We collect only what is necessary to run the service. We do not sell your data to anyone.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated automatically when you use the app.

Account Information:

  • Email address or phone number used to register
  • Display name you choose for your profile

Business & Financial Data:

  • Business names and details you create in the app
  • Transaction records (amount, date, description, category) that you enter manually
  • Receipt images or documents you upload to transactions
  • Book names, member roles, and team permissions you configure

Device & Usage Information:

  • Device type, operating system version, and app version
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for push notifications
  • Crash reports and error logs to fix bugs (no personal financial data included)

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account and businesses
  • To store and sync your bookkeeping data across your devices
  • To send push notifications for new transactions added by team members
  • To generate PDF and Excel reports on your request
  • To manage team invitations and role-based access within your books
  • To diagnose technical issues and improve app performance
  • To send important service announcements (not marketing emails)

3. Data Storage & Security

All your data is stored securely on Google Firebase — a cloud platform used by millions of applications worldwide.

  • Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
  • Data is encrypted at rest on Firebase servers
  • Access to your data is enforced by Firestore Security Rules — your data is only accessible by you and team members you explicitly invite
  • Receipt images are stored in Firebase Storage with private access rules
  • Our servers are located in data centres operated by Google

While we take strong measures to protect your data, no system is 100% immune to security risks. Please use a strong password and keep your login credentials confidential.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in these limited cases:

  • Google Firebase / Google Cloud — our infrastructure provider. Subject to Google's data processing terms.
  • Team Members — if you invite someone to a book, they can see transaction data in that book as per the role you assign them.
  • Legal Requirements — if required by law, court order, or government authority in India, we may disclose data as legally obligated.

We do not share your financial data with any third-party advertisers or analytics platforms.

5. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access — You can view all your data directly within the app at any time.
  • Correction — You can edit or update your account information and transactions in the app.
  • Deletion — You can delete transactions, books, and businesses from within the app. To permanently delete your account and all associated data, contact us at engineer4nirmaanoffice@gmail.com.
  • Export — You can export your transaction data as PDF or Excel from within the app at any time.
  • Portability — Your exported data belongs to you.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will permanently remove your data from our servers within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable Indian law.

Deleted transactions are soft-deleted (hidden from view) for audit purposes and permanently purged after 90 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Flowzenly is designed for business use and is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us and we will delete the account immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we make significant changes, we will notify you via:

  • A push notification in the app
  • An update notice on this page with a revised "Last updated" date

Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
